NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS MONALISA STEPHEN REPORTEDLY PASSES AWAY
Tragic news has emerged from Nollywood, as actress and brand influencer Monalisa Stephen has reportedly passed away.
According to Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of Best of Nollywood (BON), Monalisa died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Lagos, following complications related to low blood sugar and internal bleeding.
Oloketuyi shared the heartbreaking update in a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 14, revealing that the actress’s immediate younger sister confirmed her passing.
His post reads:
“Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen is dead. She died yesterday in Lagos after losing the fight against low sugar and internal bleeding. Her immediate younger sister confirmed the death of this hardworking and beautiful soul.”
