FEAR IN UNN AS FEMALE PHD STUDENT REPORTEDLY KIDNAPPED DURING MORNING JOG
Tension has engulfed the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), following the reported abduction of a female postgraduate student during a morning jog within the school’s premises.
The incident came to light after a social media user, identified as @theoriaku, raised an alarm on X (formerly Twitter), claiming that a fellow student—a PhD candidate in Mass Communication—was kidnapped during her routine early morning exercise on campus.
According to the post, the kidnappers have reached out to the victim’s associates, demanding a ransom of ₦10 million for her release.
The student’s identity has not been officially disclosed, and her whereabouts remain unknown as of the time of this report.
