VETERAN ACTRESS JUMOKE GEORGE CRIES OUT FOR HELP, REVEALS SIX-YEAR BATTLE WITH HOMELESSNESS, ILLNESS

Veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George has made a heartfelt appeal to the public for financial assistance, revealing that she has been homeless and battling serious health issues for the past six years.
In an emotional interview with fellow actress Biola Bayo, George broke down in tears as she opened up about her current living conditions and deteriorating health. According to the thespian, she now resides in a church where she relies heavily on the benevolence of a church member for food and support.
“Please, I need help. I’m tired, and I can’t bear it any longer,” she pleaded. “I have been without a home for six years and I’m currently living in the church. Most times, it’s the mummy in the church that feeds me. I have nothing to call my own.”
George went on to disclose that she has been unwell for a long time and is in urgent need of medical tests costing N400,000 to assess issues with her brain and heart.
“I’ve done several tests in the past but now I need to undergo more tests for my brain and heart. I don’t know where to get the money from. I can’t sleep because I’m constantly in pain. Everything is wrong with me,” she lamented.
Her appeal has sparked reactions across social media, with fans and colleagues expressing concern and calling for support.
