HALLE BAILEY GRANTED TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST EX DDG AMID ABUSE ALLEGATIONS

Actress and singer Halle Bailey has been granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper DDG, following a series of disturbing allegations detailed in newly obtained court documents.

According to a May 13 filing reviewed by E! News, the Little Mermaid star accused DDG of physically assaulting her during a January altercation, allegedly slamming her face into a car steering wheel—an attack that she says left her with bruises and a chipped tooth.

Bailey, 24, who shares a 17-month-old son, Halo, with the rapper, also claimed DDG subjected her to repeated verbal abuse, sometimes in the presence of their child. “He lacks an understanding of how his actions impact Halo,” she stated in the filing.

The actress recounted multiple alleged incidents, including DDG entering her home without permission, locking her out, taking her phone, and throwing it out of his car. She further cited ongoing online harassment and threats, which she linked to DDG’s social media commentary about her.

“I have done everything possible to avoid going to court,” Bailey wrote in her declaration. “I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this.”

The court has approved a temporary restraining order pending further hearings.

DDG has previously accused Bailey of preventing him from seeing their son. Representatives for both parties have not issued public statements regarding the case.
