OGUN: POLICE REACTS AS MAN ALERTS AUTHORITIES OVER ALLEGED CHILD ABUSE

A social media user has urged the Ogun State Police Command to take swift action against a man captured on video allegedly abusing a child. The footage shows the man kicking the child to the ground.
The user, Aare Ayodeji, shared the video on his X account, identifying the man as Odukaye Kunle. In his post, Ayodeji wrote: “#OgunPoliceNG #Letter_to_Jack, please help look into this issue. The man’s name is ODUKAYE KUNLE, and he lives at 16 Popoola Street, Oko Baale, Ado Odo Ota, Ogun State. People like this should not be fathers. Look at how he treats the little boy. Such individuals do not deserve to be parents.”

Responding to the video, the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, called on the Ogun State Police Command to act immediately. Adejobi tweeted: “#OgunPoliceNG #PoliceNG, take this up immediately and report back. This is heartbreaking and cruel. Why?? Anger is destructive.”
In an update, the police command confirmed that they have visited Boluwatife and his mother, who are now under their care. However, the suspects remain at large but will be apprehended and held accountable.
