TIKTOK INFLUENCER FATALLY SHOT WHILE LIVESTREAMING FROM HER BEAUTY SALON

Valeria Márquez, a 23-year-old TikTok influencer and beauty entrepreneur, was tragically shot dead while livestreaming to her followers from her salon on Tuesday afternoon.
Márquez, who had over 110,000 followers on TikTok, was filming content from inside her establishment, Blossom the Beauty Lounge, located in the Santa María shopping plaza in Jalisco, when a gunman entered and opened fire. According to El Imparcial, the assailant fled the scene on a motorcycle immediately after the attack.
Graphic footage from the livestream reportedly shows Márquez smiling and looking out the window moments before she was struck—once in the chest and twice in the head. Paramedics were called to the scene but pronounced her dead upon arrival.
Authorities have cordoned off the salon and launched an investigation into the fatal shooting. While officials have yet to publicly confirm the victim’s identity, they acknowledged that the deceased was a prominent social media personality with an active online presence.
An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted as investigators continue their efforts to determine a motive and identify the suspect.
A statement from the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office confirmed: “According to the initial investigation, she was in her establishment when a man entered and apparently shot her several times with a firearm, killing her.”
The killing has shocked Márquez’s followers and the broader influencer community, many of whom have expressed their grief and outrage on social media.
