Fashion entrepreneur and influencer Priscilla Mkabala (Ojo) has reacted strongly after a viral post on X falsely attributed controversial comments about postpartum depression to her.
The viral tweet claimed that Priscy said she never experienced postpartum depression after childbirth, adding that her love for her husband tripled and that postpartum depression is “an illusion caused by poverty.” The post quickly gained traction online, sparking outrage and debate.
Responding via her Instagram story, Priscy denied making such statements, writing, “I never said this, what’s wrong with Twitter people?? Be ready to provide evidence!!” She also described the claim as insulting to mothers and insensitive, distancing herself completely from the narrative.
Her response has since generated reactions online, with many social media users calling out the dangers of misinformation and the impact of falsely attributing sensitive opinions to public figures, especially on issues affecting mothers and mental health.
