Kunle Hamilton Raises the Bar for Christian Entrepreneurs at CCC PraiseVille

♦In a season where conversations around the Nigerian church are often dominated by controversy, one faith leader is quietly rewriting the narrative with strategy, structure and seed capital.

Dr. Kunle Hamilton, life coach, media veteran and Lead Shepherd of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) PraiseVille, has raised the stakes for Christian entrepreneurship ahead of the church’s 10XBetter Convention 2026, unveiling a ₦2 million business grant pool for outstanding small-scale business pitches.

The multi-day convention officially commences on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with a Midweek Showers service scheduled for 6:00pm to 8:00pm, setting the spiritual tone for what has been positioned as a convergence of faith, leadership and economic empowerment.

At the heart of the convention is the TheVille Tycoon Business Pitch Challenge, which will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, during a full-day programme of teachings, Q&A sessions, music and live business pitches from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The pitch session will be assessed by a panel of four chartered accountants, with eight Celestians emerging as beneficiaries of the expanded grant pool.

Five finalists will receive ₦100,000 each, while the top three pitches will walk away with ₦500,000 apiece — an increase from the initially announced ₦500,000 total prize fund.

Speaking from the church’s Yaba headquarters, widely recognised for sustained charity outreach to widows, orphans and indigent students, Hamilton explained that the initiative reflects a deeper commitment to economic empowerment rooted in faith, discipline and accountability.

At a time when public trust in religious institutions remains under scrutiny, the media-trained preacher and leadership strategist insists the focus must return to raising value-driven Christians equipped for nation-building beyond rhetoric.

The convention will conclude on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with a Thanksgiving Service and TheVille Tycoon prize presentation from 7:00am to 9:30am, marking the official close of the three-day gathering.

As the 10XBetter Convention 2026 unfolds, attention will be firmly fixed on the live pitches — and on a growing movement redefining what church impact can look like beyond the pulpit.
