Indomie Nigeria Clarifies NAFDAC Safety Alert, Says Product Mentioned Is Not Sold in Nigeria

Indomie Nigeria has issued an important clarification regarding recent reports circulating in the media about a NAFDAC safety alert linked to an Indomie noodles product.
In a statement released by the company, Indomie Nigeria explained that the product referenced in the alert — an Indomie Noodles Vegetable Flavour — is not manufactured, imported, distributed, or sold in Nigeria.
According to the company, the safety alert by NAFDAC was connected to a product recall that originated from France in August 2025 and was issued purely as a precautionary measure to safeguard the Nigerian public.
Indomie Nigeria also assured consumers that all Indomie noodles produced by Dufil Prima Foods in Nigeria are safe for consumption, as they are made under strict quality control processes and in full compliance with NAFDAC regulations.
