ASAKE’S ALLEGED FATHER DEMANDS ₦50M HOUSE, DNA TEST FOR ALLEGED DAUGHTER
Fatai Odunsi, who claims to be the father of fast-rising singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has demanded that his son purchase a ₦50 million house for him in Isale Eko.
Odunsi had previously reached out to Nigerians for financial support, citing his deteriorating health. According to online sources, Asake’s father allegedly suffered a stroke and has since been paralyzed, prompting accusations that the singer abandoned him.
However, conflicting reports suggest a more complicated family history. While some claim that Odunsi was absent during Asake’s childhood, others argue that he was present, and it was actually Asake’s mother—who now openly supports him—who initially distanced herself.
Family’s Fresh Demands
In a recent video, Odunsi and his family made specific demands from the singer. They are requesting that Asake buy him a house in Isale Eko, which would generate rental income for his sustenance. Additionally, they are pushing for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of Zeenat, an alleged 11-year-old daughter of Asake, whom they claim he has abandoned.
A family representative publicly addressed the singer, saying:
“Ololade, Mr. Money, I beg you. Even if Nigerians donate ₦10B to this man, just ₦1M from you would make him happier. If you don’t want to support him directly, buy him a house in Isale Eko so he can survive off rent. Also, if you doubt Zeenat’s paternity, the mother has agreed to a DNA test.”
Asake’s Response?
Although Asake has not issued an official response, he seemingly addressed the controversy through his music. In a recently surfaced track, he reflects on the pressures from those around him:
“You can’t please the world. Whatever you do, do it for God, and always remember the day you’ll die and meet your God. My people, can you see? Even my father wants to cajole me. I used to press money for him, and I did it with one mind. No one can quench my fire. God is the one taking me ahead in life.”
His lyrics suggest his perspective on the ongoing allegations, leaving fans to interpret his message amid the growing controversy.
