HOW UBI FRANKLIN SCAMMED ME- SPYRO
Nigerian singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has publicly criticized music executive Ubi Franklin over a payment dispute.
In a recent interview, Spyro recounted an incident where Franklin approached him to perform alongside Davido at Iyanya’s birthday celebration, offering a payment of $5,000. Spyro declined, stating that his minimum performance fee is ₦20 million (approximately $26,000).
Despite his refusal, he felt compelled to perform due to the presence of dignitaries at the event. After the performance, Spyro confronted Franklin about the payment issue, expressing dissatisfaction with the arrangement.
This incident has sparked discussions online, with many fans and industry observers weighing in on the situation. As of now, Ubi Franklin has not publicly responded to Spyro’s claims.

Ubi Franklin in his response, Franklin denied the allegations, stating that he never used Davido’s name to coerce Spyro into performing.
