Sanwo-Olu Receives One-Day Governor, Lagos Spelling Bee Champion Esther Etiyemonu

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received Miss Etiyemonu Esther, the One-Day Governor and overall winner of the 21st Lagos Spelling Bee Competition, at Lagos House Marina.
Esther, a student of Lagos State Senior Model College Igbokuta, was praised by the governor for her confidence, focus, and hard work, qualities he said distinguish her as one of the brightest examples of Lagos’ promising youth.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described her achievement as a reflection of excellence, discipline, and dedication, noting that her success underscores the importance of investing in education and nurturing young talents across the state.
“Her confidence, focus, and hard work stand out. She represents the very best of our youth, and I am incredibly proud of her achievements,” the governor said.
Congratulating her once again, Sanwo-Olu assured Esther of the support and goodwill of Lagosians, adding that the state is rooting for her continued success and a bright future ahead.
