Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomi, has sparked reactions online after sharing details about one of the luxury watches he owns and how he acquired it.

While speaking during a church service, the cleric addressed comments about the expensive watches he is often seen wearing on social media. According to him, he does not buy many of the luxury timepieces himself, as some were gifted to him by church members.

Pastor Ibiyeomie recounted how a young man once gave him a wristwatch worth $2 million as a sacrifice. He explained that the giver insisted God specifically instructed him to present the watch to his pastor, not as a general offering to God but directly to him.

The preacher further stated that the watches often seen online are only a fraction of his collection, hinting that he owns even more expensive pieces. He added that if people saw some of the other watches he has, they would be shocked.

The statement has since generated conversations on social media, with many debating wealth, faith, and the relationship between pastors and congregants.
