Faithia Williams Announces Mother’s Death Days After Her 55th Birthday Celebration

Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has announced the passing of her mother in an emotional message shared with fans, revealing that the loss occurred just before her 55th birthday celebration.
According to the actress, her birthday fell on Thursday, February 5, but she chose to hold a party on Sunday. Unbeknownst to her at the time, her mother had passed away on the eve of the celebration, and the news was deliberately withheld from her so she could enjoy the occasion.
In her heartfelt statement, Williams described her late mother as her “cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner,” noting that the reality of the loss has yet to fully sink in.
She added that she has found comfort in her faith, stating that she has taken solace in Allah (SWT), while also explaining that the Williams family has decided to keep matters private for now.
The actress appealed for prayers and support for herself and her siblings during the period of mourning, adding that burial arrangements will be communicated at a later date.
Since the announcement, colleagues, fans, and well-wishers have continued to send messages of condolence, offering prayers and words of encouragement to the veteran actress.
