Another man, yet to be publicly identified, was also shot dead during the attack at the School Field in Ogidi.
According to statements from the Anambra State Police Command, the violent incident is believed to be linked to reprisals by members of a rival cult group following the arrest and killing of a notorious local cultist in the area.
