Governor Sanwo-Olu Presents N4.237 Trillion 2026 Budget Proposal to Lagos Assembly

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented a N4.237 trillion budget proposal for the 2026 fiscal year to the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The proposed budget, which is the largest in the state’s history, focuses on infrastructure expansion, transport development, healthcare improvement and strengthening security across the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that the budget is designed to sustain ongoing projects while initiating new ones aimed at improving the quality of life for Lagos residents. Lawmakers are expected to review the proposal before passage.
