Zulum Declares Fasting and Prayers Over Resurgence of Boko Haram in the North-East

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has called for a state-wide fasting and prayer session following the renewed rise in Boko Haram attacks across the North-East region.
The governor announced that the spiritual exercise is aimed at seeking God’s intervention as communities continue to face intensified threats from insurgents who have recently carried out fresh assaults in parts of Borno and neighboring states.
The renewed wave of attacks has left many communities in fear, displacing families and heightening calls for stronger national action against insurgency.
