A Nigerian lady has taken to social media in tears, expressing deep frustration and heartbreak over the harsh realities currently facing citizens across the country.
In an emotional video, she lamented the two-week nationwide doctors’ strike, revealing that many people, especially those with chronic illnesses are suffering and dying because they cannot afford private hospitals.
She specifically mentioned her friends living with sickle cell disorder, saying some of them are dying simply because they have no access to medical care.
She went on to criticize Nigerians for focusing more on celebrity topics while the country is in crisis.
According to her:
“Doctors have been on strike for two weeks now. Nigeria is happening to me. My friends living with sickle cells are dy!ng because they can’t afford private hospitals.
Last week, Nigerians were busy talking about Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko.
This week, it’s Mr Jollof and VeryDarkman, while Christians are being k!ll£d by terrørists.”
Her message has sparked heavy reactions online, with many agreeing that the country is going through one of its toughest seasons and more attention should be given to national issues affecting lives.
