Uche Montana has finally spoken out about the viral allegation claiming that she “introduced Regina Daniels to drugs”, an accusation reportedly tied to Ned Nwoko’s circulating statements. In a newly released video, Uche walks her audience through exactly how she heard the news, how she reacted, and why the claim makes absolutely no sense to her.
According to Uche, the entire drama started at 1 a.m., when she was suddenly awakened by a panic call from her younger sister, Pearl. She had been asleep, her phone was dead, and had only plugged it in moments before the unexpected call came in. Confused and concerned, she picked up the call thinking something might be wrong, only to hear the shocking allegation being repeated to her.
Almost immediately, her fan pages, close friends, and even her sisters were all trying to reach her. Everyone around her was alarmed, everyone except Uche herself.
She explains that when you know your truth, it becomes difficult for external noise to shake you. She wasn’t confused, wasn’t panicked, and wasn’t even interested in responding at first.
She made it clear that if the matter ever needs to go to court, she is fully prepared, but at the time, she simply did not care because the allegation did not align with who she is or what her audience knows her for.
Instead of being angry or emotional, Uche actually found some of the comments funny. But after the initial shock, a more serious thought crossed her mind:
Why was her name being dragged into something so personal and private, a matter that had nothing to do with her?
That confusion seemed to be her only real concern.
The situation became more emotional the following morning. Uche revealed that her mother called her in tears, deeply worried about the narrative circulating online. But even then, Uche maintained her calm. She reassured her mother and reminded her that she had just woken up and simply didn’t see the allegation as something that deserved stress.
To her fans who were waiting for a heated reaction, she also admitted that she was shocked by her own level of indifference. In her words, she has “grown so much” and built a community that knows her well enough to immediately spot something untrue.
As she put it, there are things you hear and immediately know: “This is not Uche.”
And that confidence is what guided her response, or rather, her decision not to respond immediately.
Uche Montana ends her message by emphasizing that the allegation is completely false, stating that this is “a known fact.” She stands firm in her truth, reassured by her family and the loyalty of her fan base.
