CATHOLIC FAITHFUL STAGE PRAYER WALK FOR PEACE IN BENUE STATE
Members of the Catholic Church in Benue State took to the streets in a solemn prayer walk, seeking divine intervention and lasting peace amid ongoing violence in the region.
Clad in black garments and holding rosaries, the faithful marched through major roads, singing hymns and offering prayers for the souls of those lost and for the restoration of security across affected communities.
The peaceful procession drew attention from passersby and community leaders, as participants called on both government authorities and citizens to prioritize peace, justice, and reconciliation in the face of recurring attacks.
