ORJI UZOR KALU DECLARES: I’M READY TO DIE FOR APC TO WIN IN 2027
Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has declared his unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that he is ready to lay down his life to ensure the party’s victory in the 2027 general elections.
The former governor of Abia State made this bold statement on Tuesday while addressing journalists at his country home in Igbere, Abia State.
“APC is strong in Abia. Like I said in my interview, I am ready to lay down my life for the party. I am a member of the party and a strong one at that. I am APC to the core. That’s why APC is strong in Abia North,” Kalu stated.
He emphasized the importance of rallying support for President Bola Tinubu, citing the President’s track record over the past two years as a reason Nigerians should continue to back him.
“Our party will work hard to deliver the President in the state. We have done it in the past, and we will do it again in 2027,” he added.
Kalu, who previously served as the Senate Chief Whip, also expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic outlook, noting that President Tinubu is taking steps to restore the value of the naira.
“The economy needs time to bounce back. The President is working to ensure that the economy bounces back,” he said.
Kalu’s comments come as the political climate begins to heat up ahead of the 2027 elections, with various stakeholders positioning themselves for the race.
