WIZKID CANCELS MULTIPLE DATES ON NORTH AMERICAN ‘MORAYO’ TOUR

Grammy-winning Afrobeats icon, Wizkid, has abruptly pulled the plug on several major dates of his highly anticipated Morayo World Tour in North America, raising eyebrows and concerns across the industry.

Among the cancelled stops are some of the continent’s biggest arenas:

  • June 5 – State Farm Arena, Atlanta
  • June 7 – Madison Square Garden, New York
  • June 11 – Scotiabank Arena, Ontario, Canada
  • June 15 – CFG Bank Arena, Baltimore

While the Star Boy’s camp remains tight-lipped about the reason for the cancellations, speculation has been rife. Adding to the concern, Wizkid’s close associate, Godson, shared a cryptic but emotional message on social media, urging fans to “add him to your prayer,” hinting at ongoing grief and a lack of emotional support surrounding the singer.

“Personally, I think he’s still grieving and nobody is helping him achieve this. Sad.” — Godson wrote on X.

Despite the setback, insiders confirm that the European leg of the Morayo Tour is still on track, with no changes announced at this time.

Meanwhile, fans across the globe have taken to social media to send love and healing vibes to the ‘IDK’ crooner, urging him to prioritize his well-being over performance pressure.
