DELTA HEALTH COMMISSIONER ORDERS WITHDRAWAL OF QUERY AGAINST NURSING STUDENT OVER VIRAL REMI TINUBU VIDEO 

The Delta State Commissioner of Health has directed the School of Nursing, Agbor, to retract the query issued to a student who shared a viral video of her colleagues singing a controversial welcome song for First Lady Oluremi Tinubu.

The video, which sparked widespread reactions, showed students refusing to refer to Tinubu as “our Mama,” instead responding with “your Mama.” The school initially accused the student of a “punishable offence” and demanded an explanation within 24 hours.

Following public outrage, the commissioner intervened, calling for the query’s withdrawal.
