PASTOR DANIEL OLUKOYA RECOUNTS MYSTERIOUS ENCOUNTER WITH NAK£D WOMAN CARRYING POT
Pastor Daniel Olukoya, the senior pastor of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, recently shared a chilling experience from his university days in 1976. During a Sunday service, he recounted an unusual encounter that left a lasting impression.
As a student at the University of Lagos, Olukoya and his friends had rushed a roommate to the hospital following an accident. Once their friend was admitted, hospital staff instructed them to leave and return the next morning. Stepping out into the night, they encountered a woman walking toward them, balancing a large pot on her head. To their shock, she was completely naked.
“My friends ran away,” Olukoya recalled. “But I stood my ground. I told myself, ‘Daniel, this is a spirit, and I will see it for myself.’”
As the mysterious woman drew closer, he addressed her directly. “Madam, you look educated. Why are you walking around naked with a pot on your head in the middle of the night?”
To his astonishment, the woman revealed that she had studied in the United Kingdom but had been advised by a native doctor to perform a naked sacrifice to escape her family’s troubles. Olukoya urged her to seek Jesus for deliverance instead. However, she dismissed his counsel, replying, “Young man, mind your business.”
Reflecting on the encounter, Olukoya remarked, “Oppression can drive even the educated into bondage.”
