LANDE’S WIFE BREAKS SILENCE ON INFIDELITY CLAIMS

Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has finally addressed allegations of infidelity leveled against her.
Speaking during an interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday, Darasimi refuted claims that she was unfaithful, clarifying that her interaction with Yoruba Nollywood actor Babatunde Tayo, aka Baba Tee, was limited to a game of “Truth or Dare” orchestrated by her friend, Marygold.
Lande had previously alleged in a viral interview that Darasimi left him after he discovered her infidelity, claiming she was involved with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry. Among those he named was Baba Tee, whom he also mentioned in an Instagram post.
However, Darasimi denied the accusations, insisting that infidelity was not the reason for their separation. Recounting the incident, she said:
“The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold invited me to his house while trying to secure his attendance at her movie launch. Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife at the time. We exchanged pleasantries, and Marygold, wanting to drink, sent Baba Tee’s driver to buy alcohol. While waiting, Baba Tee and I barely spoke. When Marygold returned, she suggested playing ‘Truth or Dare.’ Initially, I was reluctant, but she convinced me. That’s when I told Baba Tee I was Lande’s wife, and we started the game.”
Darasimi alleged that during the game, Marygold stripped naked and performed a sexual act on Baba Tee while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. The situation escalated when Marygold dared Baba Tee to engage in a sexual act with her.
“He went to get a condom, but I refused to engage in anything beyond sitting on his lap. We even told Marygold to turn to the wall so she wouldn’t watch us. That was all that happened.”
She challenged Lande to provide proof of her alleged infidelity, maintaining that their marriage did not end because of cheating.
Meanwhile, Baba Tee admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with Darasimi, describing it as a mistake influenced by alcohol. The 45-year-old actor later issued a public apology to Lande via his official Facebook page, writing:
“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande. I had no idea Dara was your wife… Hmmm. I fear women.”
