TRUMP URGES CONGRESS TO BAN AND CRIMINALIZE CHILD SEX CHANGES
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called on Congress to pass legislation permanently banning and criminalizing sex-change procedures for minors.
Speaking before a joint session of Congress at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, March 4, Trump declared,
“I want Congress to pass a bill permanently banning and criminalizing sex changes on children and forever ending the lie that any child is trapped in the wrong body. This is a big lie, and our message to every child in America is that you are perfect exactly the way God made you.”
He continued, emphasizing his stance against what he described as harmful ideologies in schools and the military:
“We are getting wokeness out of our schools, out of our military, and out of our society. We don’t want it. Wokeness is trouble. Wokeness is bad. It’s gone, and we feel so much better for it. Our service members won’t be activists and ideologues—they will be fighters and warriors who defend our country.”
Trump’s remarks come just over a month after he signed an executive order restricting “chemical and surgical” sex-change procedures for minors. The order, titled “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation,” condemned such medical interventions, stating, “Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions.”
He concluded with a strong warning: “This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.”
