I’LL STILL SUE WUNMI EVEN IF DNA CONFIRMS PATERNITY – MOHBAD’S FATHER VOWS

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, has expressed his determination to take legal action against his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, even if a DNA test confirms that Liam is his biological grandson.

During a recent interview, Aloba reiterated his lingering doubts about the circumstances surrounding his son’s death, which occurred nearly two years ago. He also raised concerns about the paternity of the child left behind by Mohbad.

Regardless of the DNA results, Aloba insists he will pursue legal action against Wunmi, citing her decision to take the five-month-old infant to a nightclub where smoking was prevalent as a key reason for his decision.

Speaking in Yoruba, Aloba’s words were loosely translated as follows:

“I knew nothing about Mohbad’s death. When my son passed away, Wunmi was the first person I questioned because she was his wife. Even if DNA proves that Liam is my grandson, I will still sue her. How could they take a five-month-old baby to events where people are smoking weed? Recently, I found out they took him to Ibadan. I knew there was a nurse involved, but I didn’t see her. DNA is very, very important, but my main concern is finding out what killed Mohbad and whether the child he left behind is truly my grandson. I’m not focused on properties or material things. Please, I beg the government for help—I’m tired and don’t know what else to do. It’s been two years since someone died in that house. Even if it was the nurse, there are cameras inside and outside the house. What about forensic investigations? Please, help me. I don’t know what to do anymore…”
