“DESPERATE FOR RELEVANCE” – UK PM SLAMS KEMI BADENOCH

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has sharply criticized Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, accusing her of “desperately seeking relevance.”
Starmer’s remarks came during Wednesday’s parliamentary plenary on February 26, following Badenoch’s comments on defense budget cuts and foreign aid.
Badenoch claimed credit for influencing Starmer’s decision to reduce the aid budget, stating, “Over the weekend, I suggested the Prime Minister cut the aid budget, and I’m pleased he accepted my advice. It’s the fastest response I’ve ever had from him.”

She also questioned discrepancies in the announced defense spending figures, asking, “He announced £13.4 billion in additional defense spending yesterday, but his defense secretary said it’s only £6 billion. Which is correct?”
In a fiery response, Starmer dismissed her claims, labeling her a “self-appointed savior of Western civilization desperate for relevance.” He further clarified that he had not seen her proposal before finalizing the budget figures.
