TINUBU, AKPABIO OTHERS TO STORM APC NEC MEETING WEDNESDAY


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled plans for two crucial gatherings next week, as the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) prepares to address pressing internal and national issues. 

In a notice issued on Friday night by the party’s National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Bashiru, the APC announced that its National Caucus meeting will take place on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM. 

This will be followed by the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, at the party’s National Secretariat located at 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja. The NEC meeting is set to begin at 10:00 AM. 

The memo, addressed to party stakeholders, urged members to circulate the information widely. It read: 
“Distinguished colleagues, kindly circulate the following to all party stakeholders in the states: The National Caucus Meeting of the party is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa by 6:00 PM. The National Executive Committee meeting is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, at the National Secretariat of the party. Best regards.”  

These meetings, convened in line with Articles 12.5 and 12.3 of the APC Constitution, are expected to address critical party matters and discuss key national issues. 

An authoritative source confirmed that President Bola Tinubu has approved the dates for the meetings, underscoring their significance as the party seeks to strengthen its unity and strategize for the future.
