PORTABLE SURRENDERS TO POLICE AFTER BEING DECLARED WANTED
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has turned himself in to the police after being declared wanted. The artist, who had been evading authorities, surrendered on Wednesday at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba.
Portable is now being transported to Ogun State, where he will be handed over to the local police for further investigation.
His surrender comes just a day after he claimed in a video posted on his Instagram page that he was a “madman” receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Aro, Abeokuta. In the video, he pleaded with Nigerians and the Ogun State Government for leniency following the police’s declaration.
