OMOTOLA JALADE-EKEINDE CELEBRATES 47TH BIRTHDAY WITH SIZZLING PHOTOS
Today February 7, 2025, marks a special day for Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde!
Celebrating her 47th birthday, left fans in awe with a breathtaking photoshoot!
In the photos, she was seated barefoot in a white spaghetti-strap gown with a matching white jacket resembling a bathrobe.
Expressing gratitude, she captioned the post: “Happy Birthday to Me…. Grateful to God . ”
In another post, she wrote: “What a Beautiful time to be Alive and in God’s Plan. I’m grateful today for the gift of life, good health, and good friends.
Omotola was born in Lagos on February 7, 1978 to a family of five who hails from Ondo state, she studied Estate Management from the Yaba College of Education.
Her first acting role was in the 1995 movie, Venomof Justice, where she was given the lead role in the movie, and that set the stage for her flourishing career in Nollywood.
She was the first African celebrity to receive over one million likes on her Facebook page, In 2013, she was listed on the list of 100 most influential people in the world by TIME Magazine.
Omotola, became a UnitedNationsWFP, (WorldFood Programme), Ambassador in 2005, going to missions in Sierra Leone and Liberia. She has been active in the Walk the World project and participated in the WalktheWorldcampaign in Liberia with PresidentEllenSirleaf-Johnson.
Omotola who is a chief in her community, runs her own NGO called the OmotolaYouthEmpowermentProgramme, (OYEP), which brings hundreds of youths together for theEmpowermentWalk and Convention.
Omotola has been married to Captain Matthew Ekeinde since 1996. The couple has four children: Princess, M.J (Matthew Jr.), Meraiah, and Michael.
Their marriage is regarded as one of the longest-lasting in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
