NOLLYWOOD MOURNS AS VETERAN ACTOR COLUMBUS IRISOANGA PASSES ON

Veteran Nollywood actor, Columbus Irisoanga, fondly known by fans as “Igbudu,” has passed away.

The sad news was shared by veteran actress and politician Hilda Dokubo through an emotional post on Instagram, where she described Irisoanga’s passing as a deep loss for the University of Port Harcourt community, Rivers State, and the entire Nollywood industry.

“Our uncle Coli has gone to be with the Lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu,” she wrote, expressing her grief. “There can’t be a shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this. This one is heavy on Uniport, Rivers State, and Nollywood.”

Irisoanga’s passing comes on the heels of the death of another Nollywood star, 35-year-old actress Pat Ugwu, leaving the film industry in mourning once again.

Fans, colleagues, and the Nollywood community have since taken to social media to pay their respects and share memories of the legendary actor known for his exceptional performances.
