VICTOR OSIMHEN ENMESHED IN CONTROVERSY OVER ALLEGED ALTERCATION WITH JOURNALIST

Galatasaray and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has found himself at the center of controversy following reports of an alleged confrontation with a journalist during a late-night outing in Istanbul.

The incident reportedly occurred as Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli earlier this season, was leaving an entertainment venue with friends. According to Turkish media, including Posta Newspaper, a group of reporters approached the football star to take photographs, which allegedly led to a heated altercation.

Journalist Tolga Bozduman, one of the reporters involved, shared his version of the events:

“I filmed Osimhen at the door with three of my colleagues. When the flashes went off, all hell broke loose. He ran towards me, screaming. He tried to take my camera away from me, but I didn’t let him.

“The punch he threw hit me in the head. My right side still hurts. He then started swearing. Then he offered, ‘Destroy the footage, I’ll give you money.’ When I refused, he threatened me by saying, ‘I’ll destroy you.’”

The claims have yet to be addressed publicly by Osimhen or his club, Galatasaray. However, the alleged altercation has sparked widespread attention, with many awaiting clarification from the footballer’s camp.

As the story develops, fans and football enthusiasts are watching closely to see how this situation unfolds for the Nigerian star.
