YENI KUTI KNOCKS NGOZI EZEONU FOR PUBLICLY SCOLDING LADIES OVER DRESSING
Yeni Kuti has reacted to a viral video of veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu rebuking two young ladies over their outfits at an audition.
The incident, reported by NeeCeeBlog, showed Ezeonu chastising the ladies for attending a Lagos audition in revealing outfits, including going braless. Displeased with their choice, the actress questioned their intentions and lamented the growing trend of indecent dressing.
The video sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some praised Ezeonu for standing against indecency, others criticized her stance.
Sharing her perspective on TVC’s Your View, Yeni Kuti stated that it wasn’t Ngozi’s place to condemn the ladies. She questioned whether the veteran actress might have made similar choices in her youth, pointing out that older people often forget their own youthful indiscretions.
“It’s none of her business. We older people tend to forget the things we did in our youthful days,” Yeni remarked.
