A 50-year-old pregnant business woman/ social commentator dies 20 years after waiting.

Popular business woman and social commentator, Mrs Adenike Adewunmi Adebisi is dead. According to several social media posts from friends , she was said to have passed after complaining of dyspnea (shortness of breath)

The serial entrepreneur was said to have been believing in God for a child after 20 years in waiting. Sadly, the 50 year old woman passed few days after she jokingly posted that she would be taking a break off social media.

She was described by many as ‘cool, lively and amiable. Expectedly tributes from her friends have been pouring in on social media:

“I had a chat with Adewunmi-Adebisi Adenike in December, same last year. We had a long conversation on politics. She wanted my uncle Hon James Faleke to become the Governor of Kogi State. Nike loved my brother Babajide Kolade-otitoju like Kilode. Anytime they are insulting Babajide on Facebook Nike would call me or chat me up. One day she was almost crying. I told her not to worry herself that my brother has the energy and shock absorber to withstand those insults. Her love for any course she believes in is genuine.
I have never met her personally.
Many people find this hard to believe yet I have received several calls from friends today asking me questions I couldn’t provide answers for.

In the journey of life, you come across people and you just love them. Even though politically we sometimes have different views and opinions.

I begged her during our chats last month to take Uber to my Restaurant that I was going to pay for the trips. I wanted to meet her personally. She said “Ma worry, Very soon” We both love comedy write-ups and funny stuff so people call us twins/sisters. We love Ijogbon but we really don’t have that liver for it.

Vanity upon Vanity! All is vanity. Whatever you can’t have women, please let it go and have your life. Live your life and be happy.
That should be the most important thing, ultimate goal in life because
Life has no duplicate.

“Two hours ago, many of us panicked at what bad news we might hear. Now we mostly have heard it.

Any death diminishes us. All deaths diminish us. Adenike Adewunmi-Adebisi engaged often here. Offline she sold Ankara and many other businesses. I called her last December in need of a quick delivery. She was in Ilorin and referred me to Kike Bickersteth that was very professional in handling the transaction.

I had met her twice. Surprised at how tall she was. I found her attempts at dancing very laughable. It was a constant tease between both of us on this page.

Her death saddens me. Her memories gladden me. When people were asking who had died and what the shock was, I wanted to say .. look in the mirror. We shall all die. One by one if we are lucky.

Then we become gist for others, pain for some and memories for most. Most deaths are unexpected. It comes suddenly. One day we are here and then..mist.

Life will go on. May the wind blow her remains to places she loved.

How can someone who just made a post less than 24hours without complaints of being sick suddenly be announced dead

You showed up here daily infact everytime
Close to virtually everyone here and shows concerns about her friends

You seem so close that it felt like I lost something dear and my heart broke in fear…it could be anyone

This is truly sad 😔
It’s a rude shock…sends cold sweat down my veins

This life is vain nothing serious about it
Never expected such news anytime soon but it is well
