Nigerian Army Alerts Plots by Boko Haram to Attack Abuja, Imo, Yobe and others
The Nigerian Army has released a statement dated 5th August ’16 alerting the general public of plans by Boko Haram to attack some states in Nigeria.
According to the statement, the islamic terrorist group plans to attack police stations in Abuja, Kano, Sokoto and Kebbi state while a prison in Adamawa is also being targeted. The statement adds that the sect members are also planning to attack market places in Imo, Bauchi and Katsina state. The statement adds that schools that are presently in session in Yobe, Adamawa and Borno state are also at risk.
