SA Rapper AKA Traditionally Pays Damages To His Baby Mama's Family

South African rapper, AKA has observed Zulu tradition by paying damages to the family of his baby mama DJ Zinhle, for impregnating her out of wedlock.

A cow, goat and cash were given to Zinhle’s family over the weekend in Dannhauser, Kwa-Zulu Natal.

‘We had a great day when the father of my grandchild came with his family to pay damages. He paid one cow, one goat and cash for the second cow. I am happy that he respected our tradition.

‘We became one family. It was like we had known each other a long time. As for ilobolo . . . maybe one day he will consider that but at the moment we are happy that he paid damages,’ Zinhle’s uncle, Mbongeni Jiyane told Daily Sun.
