Nollywood actor Stan Nze recently shared a heartfelt perspective on marrying a full-figured woman, and his words are resonating with many. During an interview, he was asked how it feels to be with a curvier spouse, and his response went beyond appearances.
“My plate is full, my hands are always full. But the truth about it is more than the figure, more than the shape… there’s so much content. So full in every sense of it. I’m happy, I’m fulfilled,” he said. “She makes me laugh so much. We can talk about any and everything without any sort of pressure. That for me was first.”
Stan emphasized that while physical attraction matters, the inner content, the personality, the joy, the connection, is what truly makes a marriage meaningful. “I love how her hair is laid, I like how her dress is. She’s gorgeous. She’s beautiful. That’s what’s most important to me,” he added.
He also jokingly noted his household rule: “What I have done is ban bubu. In my household, there’s no bubu. She understands that, I like her to look good, ravishing, fantastic.”
Addressing a common stereotype that full-figured women struggle to attract the “right” men, Stan confidently shared, “I have plenty. You have plenty? Yes, there’s so much to hold on to. Oh, hallelujah. Oh, we love it.”
His words highlight a refreshing perspective on love, emphasizing connection, joy, and content over conventional ideals of beauty.
