IJGB Laments Poverty and Rising Begging Culture After Detty December in Lagos

An IJGB has complained about what he described as widespread poverty and an alarming level of shameless begging in Lagos following the recent Detty December festivities.
Sharing a personal experience, the IJGB recounted being approached by a gateman who asked for money. When told there was no cash available, the gateman reportedly requested a bank transfer instead.
The IJGB further explained that after saying he did not even have a Nigerian bank account because he based in the UK, the gateman allegedly responded that he had a UK account, leaving the complainant completely stunned.
