“PEOPLE ARE LEAVING THE CARCASS OF THE PDP TO WIKE AND HIS CRONIES” — DELE MOMODU CONFIRMS EXIT FROM PARTY AMID OPPOSITION COALITION TALKS

Veteran journalist and politician Dele Momodu has confirmed his departure from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), signaling a shift in allegiance as momentum builds around Nigeria’s emerging opposition coalition.

During an interview with Channels TV’s Maupe Ogun, Momodu was asked directly whether he was resigning from the PDP following the formal adoption of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the coalition’s platform.

His response was swift and unambiguous:

“Without any doubt, people are leaving the carcass of the PDP to Wike and his cronies…”

Momodu’s remark is seen as a veiled swipe at former Rivers State governor and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, whose growing influence in the PDP has sparked internal rifts.
