“KEEP MY DAUGHTER OUT OF YOUR AFFAIRS” – IYABO OJO FIR£S BACK AT TANZANIAN MEDIA PERSONALITY
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has fiercely defended her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, after Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi publicly called out the young influencer over her relationship with singer Juma Jux.
In a strongly-worded response, Iyabo Ojo slammed Kimambi for dragging her daughter into Tanzania’s political affairs, warning her to steer clear of Priscilla going forward.
“Keep my daughter out of your politics and drama,” the actress wrote. “She is young, focused, and living her life. Whatever is going on in your country has nothing to do with her.”
Kimambi had earlier issued a public warning to Priscilla on Instagram, asking her and Juma Jux to refrain from posting romantic content amid the country’s charged political climate as Tanzanians prepare for elections. The media personality claimed that such posts could distract citizens from their ongoing fight for political reform.
However, Iyabo Ojo wasn’t having it.
“She is not your problem,” the actress continued. “If you have issues with your government or celebrities, address them directly. Don’t project your frustrations on my daughter.”
The mother-daughter duo has since received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities, with many praising Iyabo for standing her ground and shielding her daughter from unnecessary online attacks.
