CHARLY BOY SLAMS SENATE AMID SEXUAL HARASSMENT CONTROVERSY INVOLVING AKPABIO
Renowned entertainer and activist, Charly Boy, has waded into the growing controversy surrounding Senate President Godswill Akpabio, following Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s decision to escalate her allegations of sexual harassment to the United Nations.
Taking to Instagram on March 12, 2025, Charly Boy voiced his frustration over the state of Nigeria’s leadership, condemning the political class and calling out those in power. In a fiery post, he wrote:
“From the Presidency, the Supreme Court justices, the Law enforcement agencies to the House of Rep members and Horny Senators, my people, Nigeria don scatter scatter. Reminds me of my song ‘1990’.”
Referencing the Senator Natasha vs. Akpabio scandal, the outspoken activist did not mince words, slamming members of the National Assembly as “deplorable and undistinguished.”

“The National Assembly has the highest number of anyhow men without value or shame… very randy dogs, deplorable and undistinguished. We can all see what’s playing out with the Senate President’s sex scandal, an act that has followed him around as a politician. Now, we are witnessing how victims are punished while the guilty flex all over the place. Nonsense. My people, globally, it is only in Nigeria that real criminals are in power. A congregation of crooks, drug peddlers, and sex predators are in charge of Nigeria. Dia fathers!”
The controversy surrounding Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan took a dramatic turn when the Senate suspended her over what it termed “unparliamentary conduct.” However, many Nigerians believe her suspension is politically motivated and a direct response to her public accusations against Akpabio.
Rather than addressing her claims, the Senate moved swiftly to sanction her, sparking suspicions of a cover-up. Undeterred, Senator Natasha escalated her case to the United Nations on March 11, 2025, a move that has further intensified the debate over power, accountability, and gender-based harassment in Nigeria’s political space.
