SELENA GOMEZ IN TEARS OVER TRUMP DEPORTATIONS

In a now-deleted Instagram video, singer Selena Gomez appeared visibly emotional as she addressed the deportation of Mexican nationals under President Donald Trump’s mass deportation policy.

“I’m so sorry,” Gomez said through tears in the video. “All my people are being attacked, the children… I don’t understand. I wish I could do something, but I feel powerless. I don’t know what to do.”

The video, captioned “I’m sorry,” was accompanied by a Mexican flag emoji. Gomez, who is of Mexican descent and born in Texas, has often spoken proudly about her heritage.

She ended the emotional message with a heartfelt promise: “I will try everything I can to help.”

President Trump has long prioritized border security and mass deportations, declaring a national emergency at the southern border on his first day in office. He also signed an executive order calling for military assistance to bolster these efforts.

Meanwhile, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed on Monday that since January 20, Mexico has received 4,094 deported migrants from the U.S., the majority of whom are Mexican nationals.
