Basketmouth Urges Greater Appreciation After Staff Give Few Gifts in Return

Comedian and entrepreneur Basketmouth recently reflected on the culture of appreciation in workplaces, sharing his experience of giving Christmas bonuses to 60 staff members in his company.
Despite his generosity, only two employees gave him a gift in return. Basketmouth admitted that his first reaction was to think about how he could do more for them, highlighting his selfless approach.
Using the experience as a teaching moment, he urged people to show more gratitude and appreciation for those who go out of their way to support and reward them. “A little recognition goes a long way,” he said, stressing that appreciation strengthens relationships and fosters a positive environment.
