The Edo State House of Assembly has issued a seven-day ultimatum to Hon. Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, representing Egor Constituency, demanding that she appear before its Ethics and Privileges Committee. The summon follows a viral video purportedly showing the lawmaker in a heated altercation with her husband, music legend 2Baba (aka Innocent Idibia).
During Tuesday’s plenary session, Speaker Blessing Agbebaku condemned the lawmaker’s conduct, stating that her actions have tarnished the image of the Assembly. He directed the committee to report back within two weeks.
