Cubana Chief Priest Calls Out President Tinubu, Says Only MNK’s Release Can Save Him In 2027

Celebrity nightlife promoter Cubana Chief Priest has sparked major political debate after posting a fiery and unapologetic message directed at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insisting that the President’s chances in the 2027 elections heavily depend on the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK), the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In his lengthy statement, Cubana Chief Priest claimed that Tinubu cannot secure up to 10,000 votes in the South-East as long as Nnamdi Kanu remains in detention. He stressed that the political climate in the region has been severely affected by MNK’s incarceration, which he described as a “major setback” for the people.
He further accused South-East ministers within the current administration of failing to speak truth to power, calling them “cowards” who lack the capacity to convince the region to support the government.
The socialite also criticized political allies who recently met with Seyi Tinubu, describing them as “bags of deceit” who cannot deliver any meaningful support because they are allegedly disconnected from their hometowns due to the tensions surrounding MNK’s detention.
Cubana Chief Priest went on to advise key political figures, including Governor Hope Uzodimma, warning that his achievements risk being overshadowed if MNK is not released. According to him, only the release of the IPOB leader can restore goodwill for the ruling party and prevent a disastrous political outcome in the next election cycle.
He also referenced President Tinubu’s absence at Governor Alex Otti’s project commissioning in Abia State, calling it a missed opportunity to connect with the people from MNK’s home region.
Ending his message with a stern warning, Cubana Chief Priest declared that the South-East “belongs to MNK” and that ignoring this reality would be politically risky.
