CUBANA CHIEFPRIEST ALLEGEDLY FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST KENYAN WOMAN OVER PATERNITY, DEFAMATION CLAIMS
Controversy continues to trail the ongoing paternity dispute involving Nigerian socialite, Cubana ChiefPriest, and a Kenyan woman identified as Hellen, who claims he fathered her two-year-old son.
On Tuesday, Nigerian lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye — who gained prominence online as May Edochie’s legal representative — shared what appears to be a court document allegedly filed by Cubana ChiefPriest at a magistrate court in Kenya. According to Ugwuonye, the suit seeks to restrain Hellen from making further defamatory claims about the socialite on social media.
However, as of press time, Cubana ChiefPriest has not publicly confirmed the lawsuit or commented on the court filing shared online.
Hellen has for months maintained on social media that the celebrity barman is the father of her child and has repeatedly called for a DNA test. She has also accused him of neglect, demanding that he take responsibility. ChiefPriest has consistently denied knowing or having any involvement with her.
With neither party officially confirming the legal proceedings, and the authenticity of the documents yet to be independently verified, the situation remains murky. Public reactions are split, with some calling for clarity through a DNA test, while others warn against trial by social media.
