MAN CLIMBS BILLBOARD IN KANO IN SUSPECTED SU!CIDE ATTEMPT
Panic gripped residents of Kano on Monday as a yet-to-be-identified man climbed a towering billboard in an apparent suicide attempt.
The incident, which occurred in a busy part of the city, drew a large crowd of onlookers and quickly went viral on social media. Eyewitnesses say the man climbed the structure and remained there for hours, sparking fears about his intentions.
As of the time of this report, efforts were still ongoing to bring him down safely, while the motive behind the act remains unclear.
