BENUE GOVERNMENT CONDUCTS OVERNIGHT CLEANUP AHEAD OF PRESIDENT TINUBU’S VISIT TO YELWATA MASSACRE VICTIMS

In preparation for President Bola Tinubu’s scheduled condolence visit to the victims of the Yelwata massacre, the Benue State Government organized an overnight sanitation exercise across key areas of the affected communities.

Sources report that cleanup efforts began late into the night, with state officials and sanitation workers mobilized to clear refuse, tidy roads, and improve the general appearance of the region ahead of the President’s arrival.

President Tinubu is expected to meet with displaced families and community leaders as part of his visit, following the tragic attack that claimed multiple lives and left scores injured. The overnight efforts have sparked mixed reactions, with some praising the swift action and others questioning the timing and intent of the cleanup.
