“THEY WANT TO KEE ME LIKE THEY DID MOHBAD” – PORTABLE RAISES ALARM

Nigerian street-hop sensation Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sounded a major alarm after a recent performance in Ikorodu, Lagos, spiraled into chaos.

In a now-viral Instagram video, the “Zazu” crooner claimed that an individual in the audience attempted to inject him while he was performing—an act he described as a life-threatening experience.

Portable, drawing a chilling parallel to the tragic death of fellow artist Mohbad, expressed his concerns that he might have been targeted in the same manner. “I went to perform in Ikorodu, and they injected me. They want to kill me like they did to Mohbad. I was performing when a guy just ran out from the crowd to inject me. I slammed the mic on him,” he recounted in the video.

The energetic artist, known for his bold stage antics and unpredictable behavior, also detailed the aftermath of the incident, revealing that while no physical fight ensued, he sustained an injury to his leg in the ensuing frenzy. “We didn’t fight each other at the show. It was just chaos. See, if they had tried to fight me, I would have retaliated. But in the process of trying to embrace me, they hit my leg,” he added.

Portable also showed his swollen leg in the video and speculated that the individual attempting to inject him might have been sent by enemies looking to harm him or derail his career.
